A confirmed desktop with limited specifications
HP includes an RTX Spark-powered OmniDesk in its September announcement alongside the two OmniBook laptops. This is enough to track a real announced desktop, but not enough to assign the maximum NVIDIA platform memory or a specific processor tier to its retail configuration. We separate this entry from the broader OmniDesk brand, which can encompass hardware unrelated to RTX Spark.
Always-on is a positioning claim
HP describes compact, high-performance computing intended for long-running AI agents and tasks. That language explains the desktop’s intended role, not measured idle power, acoustic behavior or model throughput. Without a complete specification sheet, we cannot state which storage, networking or cooling options it will use. Nor does a desktop design prove software support for a particular local-AI backend.
What would make this a buying decision
HP says additional experiences, features and availability details will follow closer to availability, with pricing also deferred. Before comparing it with ASUS GR1X or MSI EdgeMesa, look for a regional model number, installed memory, drive expansion, display outputs and network ports. Regional stock remains unverified; this page is a record of the announcement rather than an offer to buy an unspecified configuration.
