RTX Spark Launch Week: Nemotron 3.5 Bolt and DLSS 5 Updates

Gadget Pilipinas reports that NVIDIA and its partners are using the days before the October 16 RTX Spark laptop launch to roll out software rather than new hardware. The coverage names the Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B A9B model, scheduled for October 15, and describes it as a mixture-of-experts model with 9 billion active parameters designed to fit within a 24GB memory footprint. These are reported product and vendor claims, not independent measurements.

The article also covers creator and gaming updates, including NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3, new local-agent tooling, and a faster DLSS 5 model expected to debut in NBA 2K27 on October 16. Gadget Pilipinas says the model could raise frame rates by up to 1.4 times and that additional DLSS 5 support is planned for titles including Hogwarts Legacy and Where Winds Meet. Actual results will depend on game settings, drivers, frame-generation behaviour, power limits, and whether the relevant software runs natively or through Windows-on-Arm compatibility layers.

For Canadian readers, the software rollout does not establish laptop pricing, retailer stock, warranty coverage, or regional access to each model, game, or application. The reported frame-rate improvement is not a measured result from independent testing, and model support does not guarantee a particular response speed or workload fit. Canadian manufacturer listings and testing on retail hardware should be checked after launch.
