Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra and Surface RTX Spark Dev Box launch with NVIDIA RTX Spark

Gadgets 360 reports that Microsoft has launched the Surface Laptop Ultra and Surface RTX Spark Dev Box with NVIDIA RTX Spark hardware. The products bring RTX Spark's Arm-based Grace CPU, Blackwell graphics, unified memory, and CUDA and RTX software to a mobile laptop and a compact desktop form factor, with local AI, development, and creative workloads among the intended uses. This is launch coverage rather than an independent performance review.

The two systems target different buyers: the laptop prioritises portability, while the Dev Box is intended to provide a more stationary developer workstation. Buyers should verify the exact CPU and GPU configuration, unified-memory capacity, storage, display, power limits, cooling, acoustics, Windows on Arm compatibility, drivers, and support for their applications. The announcement alone does not establish sustained performance, battery life, software compatibility, or value.

For Canadian readers, the report does not establish Canadian pricing, availability, warranty coverage, or shipping. Taxes, exchange rates, regional configurations, and local inventory may materially change the purchase decision. Microsoft's Canadian listings and independent testing should be checked before comparing these products with other RTX Spark systems, x86 workstations, cloud GPUs, or Apple silicon hardware.
