Mechrevo prepares RTX Spark mini PC with AI SSD to extend memory capacity

VideoCardz reports that Mechrevo is preparing the Master Road X10, a mini PC based on NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform. The report says the system is intended to use a Mechrevo-developed AI SSD to support local language models that exceed the available system memory. It attributes the product's appearance to a September 2026 NetEase Future Conference presentation by Mechrevo founder Pan Chunjie; this is reported product information, not an independent performance test.

The proposed storage-assisted design would offload large model data from DRAM to NAND and could preserve processed context to reduce repeated model-loading work. Those are intended mechanisms, not measured results. VideoCardz says Mechrevo has not shared performance figures, and the company has not yet confirmed the Master Road X10's memory configuration, AI SSD capacity, launch date, or pricing. Model quantisation, memory bandwidth, SSD latency and endurance, software support, thermals, and sustained power will determine whether the concept is useful in practice.

For Canadian buyers, this announcement does not establish Canadian pricing, availability, warranty coverage, or shipping. The reported RTX Spark platform specifications also describe platform capability rather than a confirmed X10 configuration. Mechrevo's final product listing and independent testing should be checked before treating the AI SSD concept as proof that larger local models will run at a particular speed or quality.
