IFA 2026: Nvidia RTX Spark PCs, Local AI Tools Announced With October Launch Planned
Gadgets 360 reports that NVIDIA's RTX Spark Windows PCs are scheduled to arrive in October, creating a new class of compact systems intended for local AI workloads as well as gaming and creative work. Lenovo announced the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1, while Acer showed a compact RTX Spark desktop design. NVIDIA says the platform combines a 20-core Grace CPU, a Blackwell RTX GPU, up to 128GB of unified memory, and as much as one petaflop of FP4 AI compute.
The IFA announcement also covers the software surrounding the hardware. NVIDIA says Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, and Perplexity Portable Computer will receive simpler local-model setup on Windows, while updated llama.cpp and vLLM integrations improve inference performance. The company also introduced Personal AI Router, or PAIR, an open-source tool that can distribute inference requests across compatible PCs on a local network. These are announced capabilities and vendor performance claims; independent testing will still be needed to assess drivers, application compatibility, thermals, gaming, and sustained AI throughput.
For Canadian buyers, the October target is a useful date for watching Lenovo, Acer, and other retailer listings, but it does not confirm Canadian prices, configurations, stock, shipping dates, or warranty terms. Buyers should compare the exact unified-memory tier, storage, display, cooling, battery, and Windows on Arm support, and treat the local-AI tools as part of an evolving software ecosystem rather than a guarantee of identical performance across every RTX Spark PC.
