Dell XPS 16 RTX Spark: 18 Cores, 99Wh, $3,799 [2026]

Tech Insider reports that Dell has opened preorders for the XPS 16 Creator Edition, its first XPS laptop built around NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform. The article describes a 3.2K 120Hz OLED display, a 99Wh battery, up to 128GB of coherent unified LPDDR5X memory, and a starting price of US$3,799.99, with shipping scheduled for October 16, 2026. The headline refers to an 18-core configuration, while the article's detailed discussion describes a 20-core N1X processor; buyers should confirm the final configuration with Dell before ordering.

The coverage presents RTX Spark as an Arm-based CPU-and-GPU platform intended to run local AI workloads, including quantised large language models, by allowing the processor and Blackwell-derived integrated graphics to share a large memory pool. It compares Dell's premium pricing with lower-priced RTX Spark laptops from ASUS, Microsoft, and HP, but also notes that independent benchmarks of the XPS 16 were not yet available. Sustained AI throughput, thermals, battery life, software compatibility, and Windows-on-Arm performance therefore remain unverified.

For Canadian buyers, the reported US$3,799.99 starting price is not a Canadian checkout price. Exchange rates, taxes, regional configurations, warranty coverage, shipping, and local inventory may change the total. Dell Canada's listing and independent testing should be checked before treating the preorder specifications or local-AI performance claims as confirmed.
