Asus ProArt GR1X joins a crowded RTX Spark field sans a price tag, while AMD's Gorgon Halo boxes already offer 192GB
TechRadar reports that ASUS has filled in more details about the ProArt GR1X, a compact RTX Spark mini PC first shown at Computex. The publication says ASUS now plans mainly 64GB and 128GB unified LPDDR5X configurations using the 20-core RTX Spark N1X, with a 6,144-core Blackwell GPU, a 140W TDP, a 240W USB-C Power Delivery 3.1 EPR supply, and a 150 × 150 × 51 mm chassis weighing 1.48 kg. TechRadar says the system is expected to ship through selected premium retailers before the end of 2026.
The report says the GR1X still has no published price and compares it with other compact systems, including Microsoft's US$5,999 Dev Box, NVIDIA's US$6,950 DGX Spark, and GMKtec's roughly US$6,599 EVO-X5 Pro with AMD's Gorgon Halo platform and 192GB of memory. Those are reported list prices and specifications, not a controlled comparison. Memory capacity does not establish inference speed, thermals, acoustics, software compatibility, or value; the GR1X's final configuration and independent testing remain important.
For Canadian buyers, TechRadar's reported US prices and year-end shipping window do not establish Canadian pricing, retail stock, warranty coverage, or shipping. ASUS Canada's listing and independent testing should be checked when the final GR1X configuration is available, especially because the product's compact enclosure, power limits, cooling, operating-system support, and local-AI software will shape its real-world performance.
