VideoCardz reports that ASUS has detailed the ProArt GR1X, a compact mini PC built around NVIDIA RTX Spark. The system combines an RTX Spark Grace CPU with Blackwell RTX graphics and up to 128GB of shared unified memory, positioning the 150 × 150 × 51 mm desktop for local AI, creative applications, and graphics workloads. ASUS lists up to 20 CPU cores, a 6,144-core Blackwell GPU, and up to one petaflop of claimed FP4 AI performance.

The GR1X is designed as a small but capable desktop rather than a conventional upgradeable tower. Reported features include PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 M.2 storage slots, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, multiple USB-C ports with DisplayPort support, and a 10GbE network connection. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent evidence of sustained AI throughput, gaming performance, thermals, acoustics, or storage expandability under load.

For Canadian buyers, the GR1X adds a particularly compact RTX Spark option to watch, but the report does not establish Canadian pricing, retailer stock, warranty coverage, or a firm launch date. Shoppers should compare the final unified-memory tier, storage configuration, power supply, cooling, port layout, operating-system compatibility, and independent performance testing before judging it against x86 mini PCs or Apple silicon desktops.
