ASUS’ And MSI’s Initial RTX Spark Laptop Shipments Have Reportedly Sold Out, With Both Of NVIDIA’s Partners Actively Placing Orders For A Fresh Batch

Wccftech reports that ASUS and MSI are seeking additional NVIDIA RTX Spark chip shipments after their initial laptop allocations reportedly sold out or approached sellout before the platform’s official release. ASUS had previously said its channel partners had pre-ordered its available launch quantities. The new report adds that MSI’s chief product officer cited active customer orders in China, Taiwan, and the United States, with MSI’s first batch of laptops using the higher-end N1X version nearly sold through.

The article links the demand to RTX Spark’s combination of an Arm-based CPU, Blackwell graphics, and up to 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory. NVIDIA says that memory capacity can support local AI models with up to 120 billion parameters, while the GPU is also being positioned for 1440p gaming with DLSS and Multi Frame Generation. Those are platform claims rather than independent retail benchmarks, and actual results will depend on each laptop’s power limits, cooling, drivers, software compatibility, and memory configuration.

For Canadian buyers, the reported channel demand is an early sign that launch inventory could be limited, but it is not confirmation of consumer pre-orders, Canadian pricing, or local availability. Shoppers should wait for retailer listings and independent testing before treating the reported sellout as a reason to buy immediately. The underlying supply story is worth watching because additional production from ASUS and MSI could determine how quickly RTX Spark systems reach Canadian stores after the fall launch.
