Acer unveils compact RTX Spark PC with 128GB unified memory

VideoCardz reports that Acer has unveiled a compact small-form-factor PC built around NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform. The system pairs the RTX Spark superchip's Grace CPU with Blackwell graphics and supports up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. By sharing memory between the CPU and GPU, the design is aimed at local AI models, content creation, and graphics workloads that can benefit from more capacity than typical thin laptops or mini PCs provide.

The reported top configuration uses a 20-core CPU and a Blackwell GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, with NVIDIA's claimed AI performance reaching up to one petaflop of FP4 compute. Acer's compact chassis gives RTX Spark another desktop form factor, but those are announced specifications rather than independent results. Sustained performance will depend on the system's power envelope, cooling, acoustics, storage, drivers, operating-system support, and the amount of unified memory available to applications after graphics and system reservations.

For Canadian buyers, the Acer design is a useful product to watch as RTX Spark expands into small desktops, but VideoCardz does not establish Canadian pricing, retailer stock, warranty coverage, or a firm release date. Prospective buyers should compare the final memory and storage tiers, port selection, upgradeability, cooling, and independent AI, gaming, and application-compatibility testing before judging the compact PC against x86 mini PCs or Apple silicon systems.
